Tuesday Notes From All Over

Hello friends and fans. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your perspicacious doggie commentator Chester L. W. Spaniel. We have three stories to share with you today.

I was looking out my window checking for squirrels when a cardinal arrived at the feeder. Do you see the cardinal birdie in there? That is the weirdest cardinal birdie I have ever seen! Here's a closer look, below. (Sorry the picture seems so bad. The one way mirror in the feeder is getting worn out.) But you can still see that this birdie has almost no feathers on his head! We looked up this condition and found out it's either a mite infection, or else he is molting a lot. We'll be sure to report on whether his feathers grow back or not.

Bald-headed birdie.

My astute doggie colleague Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel and I were left all alone for several hours while ghostwriter and Dad drove our Oma home. We could say we diligently guarded the house from terrorists and space invaders. But really, we spent most of the time sleeping. Well, we have been behind on our sleep quota lately! But we're going to miss our Oma! (She was quite lavish with the yum yum treats.)

We heard from our Florida associate Miss Charlee. She had to stay at a doggie spa over the weekend while her humans went fishing! Can you believe it?

Look at all the fishes they caught! We hope Miss Charlee got to eat one of those fish!

We also heard from our friend Maddie cat.

She took this spy cam photo of Tibi kitten, who fell asleep whilst food watching. Watch out, Tibi! Joey dog is going to come over and give you a lesson on proper food watching technique!

And with that, we're going to bid you a good night.
