Looking Back on 2016

Hello everyone. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.

It's that time of year again. As the new year approaches, we take a look back on events. So without further ado, here we go!

JANUARY 2016

The Double Doggie Homeland Security System. Keeping the yard safe from miscreants. And barking is always free. Photo ops, however, are two yum yum doggie treats a session!

Beautiful moon rising.

FEBRUARY 2016

Hooray for snow!

Chester can play in the snow. I'd rather keep my feet dry.

Big flock of starlings visited us one day last February.

MARCH 2016

Enjoying a sunny day, with a spectacular sunset later.

Corned beef and cabbage. Yum!

APRIL 2016

Snow in April. Go figure!

Pardon me, but would you mind taking the twister seal off this suet cage?

No way! Bark bark bark!

MAY 2016

On patrol.

Joey's pear blossoms.

Fiery Spring sunset.

JUNE 2016

Great day for running!

Angel Miss Ginger showed up in the clouds.

Joey is losing weight and not eating well.

JULY 2016

Hummingbird moth.

Joey spent most of his time sleeping this month.

The next morning, he was gone …

AUGUST 2016

Chasing a squirrel.

And stay out!

I'm a good squirrel chaser!

SEPTEMBER 2016

Oma's 90th birthday.

I've been told I have eyes on the back of my head. Do you see them?

September moon.

OCTOBER 2016

Long shadows.

Fall colors.

Trick or treat.

NOVEMBER 2016

The leaves fell down all at once!

Early snow.

Ice sculpture.

DECEMBER 2016

Surprise visitor.

More snow.

A winter sky.

Christmas present.

It was a busy year!

Surprise Package!

This is The Daily Bone and I'm your excited doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.

I'm excited because I'm finally going to see what my dearest Princess Leah sent me for Christmas. I had to wait for two days because ghostwriter had to work the entire Christmas weekend plus the Friday before it and the Monday after after too, and she wanted to wait until she had a day off so she could take pictures of me getting my present. Well, enough waiting now!

Wow! It's a card with her beautiful picture on it!

Oh, and what's this?

It's a wonderful, super, amazing, magical, awesome, designer squeaky toy!
If you look at the tag, it's from petlondon

Wow!

I LOVE it!

Thank you so much!
Oh, and thank your for coming with me to Dory's grand Birthday/Christmas party. I thought it was fun to have Auntie Freya come along, and her little brother De Ark too!

Look at all our friends!

Then we went to the party at Christmas's house for more birthday and holiday fun!

Besides working the entire holiday, ghostwriter did get a chance to visit my favorite miniature human, Ryan, on Christmas morning to watch the opening of the presents.

Well, I'm going to go and play with my new toy now.

Thank you again, my dearest Princess! I hope you and your family, and all our friends and family too, have a Happy New Year!
